Help us Help Others – Christmas Tree and Wreath sale by the volunteers from the Exchange Club of New Canaan, its largest fundraiser of the year
Last year we your help we were able to donate over $200,000 to local charities.
The Exchange Club of New Canaan is kicking off its annual Christmas Tree sale at Kiwanis Park this Friday afternoon, November 24th.
This year marks the Club’s 68th year running the annual event, which raises funds for a variety of charitable organizations in New Canaan and nearby communities to: Prevent Child Abuse, Scholarships for college, support disadvantaged high schools students to finish school and go on to college, individuals & families impacted by drug addictions, maintain open spaces, among other local charities.
The tree lot in Kiwanis Park, on Old Norwalk Road, will be open every day. Hours are from 9 am until 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and 11 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, from November 24th through December 22nd. The Club sells trees (Balsam and Fraser firs), wreaths and various Christmas merchandise.
We could have not been successful without the help of many organizations and our dedicated member volunteers. Special thanks go to the Service League of Boys, Pivot Ministries, New Canaan Recreation Department, First Selectman (and Exchange Club Member) Kevin Moynihan, and our neighbor and friend, Betty Lovastik.
