Buy your Christmas tree and wreaths right in New Canaan!
Save time, avoid crowds, have a great family experience and support our largest fundraiser. Proceeds go to many local charities including awareness and prevention of child abuse.
The Exchange Club transforms Kiwanis Park into a Christmas village. We’ll have over 1,200 trees including Fraser Firs and Balsam Firs – along with a variety of wreaths, roping, tree stands and other seasonal merchandise.

SANTA’S WORKSHOP
Santa will be in Kiwanis Park on December 1st, 7th, and 8th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Bring your kids to meet Santa Claus and find out whether they have been naughty or nice!
Free Hot drinks and candy canes.
We have a mailbox for letters addressed to Santa. Your child will receive a personal reply via mail! (don’t forget to include your return address)
OLD FAITHFUL FIRE ENGINE
Take a ride around the neighborhood on the Old Faithful Classic Fire Engine. Rides available on Saturday December 7th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Fun for the whole family. Rides begin in Kiwanis Park next to the tree lot.
Over the past six years, through our fundraising efforts–primarily with our Christmas Tree sales and our Annual golf outing–the Exchange Club of New Canaan Foundation provided over $1.1 million of grants and donations to New Canaan and other local charities and scholarships.

Our grants support
Prevention of Child Abuse
- Educated, Equipped and counseled parents to prevent child abuse and neglect in lower Fairfield county
- Provide summer courses for a better chance scholars attending New Canaan High School
- Buying and renovating a home in support men being treated for drug and alcohol addiction and returning the men to their families usefully whole
- Renovating residence to help the hungry, homeless, and addicted
- Pre-HS summer STEM classes as start of a college-preparatory education, academic and life skills to inner-city youths
- Public Transportation in New Canaan for seniors and adults who are unable to drive.
- Providing individuals and families with Emergency Assistance / utilities for food, clothes, layettes, and some emergency financial aid in lower Fairfield county
- A Psychologist working with Children suffering from physical and sexual abuse.
- Delivering of meals to seniors and the disabled in New Canaan
- Effort to break the cycle Crime, Violence, and incarceration by providing client-centered intervention and support services
- Consulting Services for therapeutic services for children and adults with emotional, physical, developmental, and social needs
- Service to help Child and adolescent recover from trauma and abuse
Community Services
- The expansion of Family Drop-In services
- Provide healthy food for students on weekends, and during the summer
- Support the transportation needs of seniors be providing rides and delivering food
- Subsidize meals and costly items in high demand from the pantries, including diapers, feminine care products, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, and dish soap
- 39th Year of the New Canaan Historical’ s Ice Cream Social
- Food services for men’s residential drug recovery program in Bridgeport
- The TreeCycle program has occurred for the past three years and has grown each year, with the support of the Exchange Club
- Subsidize Meal On Wheels for needy individuals.
- Support Services Programs, Peer to Peer Community-Based Support Groups for individuals involved in trauma events
- Waveny LifeCare Network’s Red Balloon Bereavement Group for Children so children have the opportunity for emotional healing
- Empowering Women is an evidenced based form of cognitive behavior therapy that combines the best of mindfulness and cognitive behavior therapy
Youth Activities
- Provide food and hygiene products in a discreet manner for children
- Support Extra-Curricular, Summer Enrichment, Standards of Excellence, and College Preparedness Programs
- Support families in Bridgeport, CT, through free afterschool programs
- Motivate under-resourced students in Stamford to connect to their full potential, leading to independence and productive citizenship
- A Music projects designed so that students can take on increasingly challenging academic, artistic responsibilities and to foster a positive sense of self in addition to cultivate workforce readiness skills to prepare them for life after high school
- An after-school activity to address interacting with their peers, practicing social skills and exploring topics such as empathy, cooperation and friendship in a learning environment
- Address addiction and mental health issues in our local community
- Support academic and life skills programming
- Student scholarships and to provide free >tickets to families and students for select theatrical performances during the year
- Sponsored yearly college tours to various Historical Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU)
